4. What scaffolds can we provide to help students become reflective learners and tap into their own natural curiosity?

We can provide students with checklists which help them to self-assess as they progress through a project. These checklists should provide them with short term due dates which will prevent large projects from seeming overwhelming.

Students can also complete reflective journals to help them think through what is going right and wrong with their project.

Students could complete peer conferences in which they provide feedback to one another.

Students could also develop action plans and concept maps to help them think through the details of their project.
